Chandigarh: Dr. Ravindra Khaiwal, a noted faculty member at the Department of Community Medicine and the School of Public Health, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has earned a place among the world’s leading academics in environmental science. He has been named a 2024 Highly Ranked Scholar by ScholarGPS, a globally recognized platform that evaluates scholarly impact and productivity.
Dr. Khaiwal’s exceptional contributions over the past five years have earned him an impressive 16th global ranking in the field of air pollution. His scholarly influence spans several areas: he ranks 1st in North India and 21st globally in environmental monitoring, 36th in pollution, 40th in general public health, and 174th in the broader field of public health.
