Ahmedabad: Through a recent notification, the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) has released the schedule for mop up offline counselling and instructions fo the same concerning the MBBS and BDS admissions this academic year. Along with this, the counselling authority has released the Vacant Seats (Non-Reported & Canceled Seats) for Mop-up round (MBBS & BDS), Round-02 Cancel Candidate List, Round-02 Non-Reported Candidate List and Consent Data for Mop-Up (Offline) Round of Counseling (For MBBS & BDS Only).

All the concerned candidates vying for admissions to Gujarat based medical and dental colleges are hereby requested to view the said details mentioned below:

• In view of ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, all the candidates are advised to pay tuition fees, preferably, by Demand Draft.
• No proxy and authority will be allowed in Mop-up round. Mop-up round is offline counseling process, so candidates must come in person as per schedule of his/her merit numbers.
• Candidates are advised not leave admission premises till instructed by ACPUGMEC officer.
• Candidate must reach the selected Help Center 30 minutes before scheduled time for counselling.
• All the candidates are instructed to see the vacancy status available for Mop up round and closure of second round. The admission committee shall allot the seats as on available vacancy and also vacancy arise due to cascading effect of that particular seats.

Instructions for Mop-Up (Offline) Round of Counseling (For MBBS & BDS Only)
• In view of ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from Government of Gujarat, ACPUGMEC is going to organize Mop-Up Round for Admission in MBBS & BDS Courses through Video Conferencing for this academic year (2020-21) only at following Medical Colleges.

• All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPUGMEC can participate in Mop-Up Round, except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in Round 2 of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), New Delhi for 15% AIQ, Deemed & Central Universities, ESIC, AFMC, VMMC & SJH and ABVIMS & RML, AIIMS & JIPMER. 
• It is mandatory for all the candidates, who want to participate in the mop-up (offline) round, to give ONLINE CONSENT for participation in the mop-up round.
• To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates have to log-in in the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE CONSENT from 11-12-2020 at 11:00 am to 13-12-2020 at 1.00 pm only.
• The candidate can take part in the mop-up round without cancelling his admission of the previous rounds.
• Candidate can select the Help Center (as mentioned above) for participating in Mop-Up Round at the time of consent.
• The candidate, who has not given online consent during stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate in the mop-up round in any circumstances.
• After giving consent students have to take printout of "Consent/Choice Form" available in "Registration Details", which shows the date and time of consent given by him along with place for Mop-Up Round.
• Candidate has to remain present as per the merit rank on allotted date and time at his Selected Help Center. Candidate is instructed to bring "Consent/Choice Form" at the time of offline counseling.
• All the candidates are instructed to see the vacancy status available for Mop up round and closure of second round. The admission committee shall allot the seats as on available vacancy and also vacancy arise due to cascading effect of that particular seats.
• The candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted the admission on vacant seats as well as vacancy arises due to up gradation of seats during counseling. During mop-up round of counseling, candidate will be offered seat as per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank. If he is not willing to take admission in the offered seat, he can refuse the admission. In such case his/her previous admission will remain as it is.
• If the candidate wants to cancel his admission of previous round, he can cancel it at the time of his mopup round of counseling. Tuition fees will be refunded at the end of whole admission process.
• The candidate, who have cancelled his/her admission of previous rounds coming for fresh admission, are required to bring following original documents at the time of counseling.

a) Consent/Choice Form for Mop-Up Round

b) Print Copy of NEET-UG-2020 Marksheet

c) Std. 12th Marksheet

d) Document showing place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

e) Domicile Certificate (with signature and stamp of Authority) issued by Competent Authorities (Mamlatdar / Executive Magistrate / Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State only (in case of candidate born outside of Gujarat)

f) For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

g) For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha '4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

h) For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

i) Copy of Passport (if Citizenship is Dual)

j) Fitness Certificate

k) Any other document as per requirement

• The candidate, who have taken admission in previous round of ACPUGMEC, have to bring original admission order of ACPUGMEC and receipt of paid tuition fees.

• The candidate, without original documents and prescribed fees, will not be granted admission under any circumstances.

• The candidate has to pay tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash or Demand Draft in favor of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at bank facility provided by ACPUGMEC, immediately. If candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of whole admission process.

• In view of ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak, all the candidates are advised to pay tuition fees, preferably, by Demand Draft.

• The candidates are advised to come with specific arrangement of money to pay tuition fees at the time of counseling. E.g., The maximum fee is Rs. 9,20,000 (9.20 lakh) (for one term – Six months) for the Management Quota seat of MBBS at A.M.C. M.E.T. Medical College, Ahmedabad. So, candidate can come with Demand Drafts of Rs. 1,00,000/ 2,00,000/ 3,00,000/ 5,00,000 based on your choice of college to secure admission in self-financed colleges.

For NRI Candidate: The candidate who has been allotted seat in NRI category, he has to pay Rs. 5.00 lakh (as Refundable Deposit) by cash or Demand Draft in favor of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at bank facility provided by ACPUGMEC, immediately. If candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Then candidate has to pay prescribed tuition fees in US Dollar or equivalent amount in any other foreign currency at admitted institute. ACPUGMEC will refund the deposit amount of Rs. 5.00 lakh after the completion of whole admission process.

• The candidate, who will remain absent at the day and time of counseling allotted to them, will have no right for admission.

• According to Merit Closure Rule of UG Admission Rules, in Mop up round, the candidate will not be offered admission on the seats available according to his/her merit in allotment process during Previous rounds.

• The detailed schedule of Mop-Up round (with date, time and merit no.) will be displayed on the website (www.medadmgujarat.org).

• Candidates should bring envelope of 11 x 15-inch size. Write the following details on envelope with marker :
