Haryana Govt ensures availability of Liquid, Medical Oxygen in Govt, private hospitals
Rajeev Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare informed that Haryana also has eight Medical oxygen fillers to fill Medical Oxygen in D Type and B Type Cylinders and this oxygen is being supplied to Hospitals and Medical Colleges.;
Chandigarh: Haryana has adequate production and storage capacity of Liquid and Medical Oxygen and adequate arrangements have been made by the state to ensure that there is no shortage of Oxygen in both government and private hospitals of the state.
Mr Rajeev Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, gave this assurance during a video conference organized by Union Government held here on Monday. The conference was held with the States to ensure the availability of Oxygen for the treatment of COVID patients.

Divulging details about the availability of oxygen, Mr Arora said that Haryana has an adequate production storage capacity of Liquid and Medical Oxygen.
He said that the State has four Air Separation Units -- Air Liquide Panipat having capacity of around 240 MT, Jindal Steels Hisar having a capacity of 6.8 MT, Gupta Gases having a capacity of 3.0 MT and Gupta Industrial Gases having a capacity of 2.5 MT.
