Shimla: Former Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Lecturer Association Dr Sanjog Bhushan on Tuesday alleged medical negligence in his wife's treatment at Indira Gandhi Medica College (IGMC).
Addressing a press conference here, Dr Bhushan demanded action against the "negligent treatment offered to his wife at IGMC".
He also alleged that good treatment is not being provided to Covid and non-Covid patients in state hospitals.
Seeking action within four days, he said that if the state government would not take any action over the alleged negligence, he would sit on "Dharana" and hold a hunger strike before the Chief Minister Residence.
He blamed the IGMC Administrations for not providing treatment to non-Covid patients. He said that his wife was complaining of breathing problems, however, she was tested negative of Covid-19.
