Dhanbad: The state health department has recruited 139 recently PG pass-out doctors of RIMS Ranchi and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGMMCH Jamshedpur) at different Sadar Hospitals of various districts for three years under the bond rule of PG professionals. 

A notification has recently been issued stating that among 139 PG doctors, Jamshedpur has secured the highest number, 13 doctors followed by Dhanbad and Palamu with 12 doctors each. The state health department's top official declared that the issue of the scarcity of doctors at Sadar Hospitals throughout the state has now been resolved.

The State Health Department has undertaken a significant initiative by deploying 139 postgraduate doctors from RIMS Ranchi and MGMMCH Jamshedpur to various Sadar Hospitals across different districts. Originally intended to serve as senior residents at state medical colleges, these doctors have been placed in Sadar Hospitals for a duration of three years under the bond of PG professionals. 

The decision to deploy these doctors, who are graduates of esteemed institutions like RIMS Ranchi and MGMMCH Jamshedpur, was made in response to the growing healthcare needs of rural areas. While the initial plan was to utilize their expertise within the medical college settings, the State Health Department has strategically redirected their deployment to Sadar Hospitals, which play a crucial role in delivering primary healthcare services to the local communities.

As per a recent media report by Lagatar24, the list of the doctors who have been deployed in different departments is as follows:
