Karnataka CM, Health Minister to take organ donation pledge on World Organ Donation day
The minister said that an awareness programme will be held where a human chain will be formed from Bengaluru's Mekhri Circle to Freedom Park on Saturday to mark World Organ Donation Day. The human chain will consist of over 5,000 which would include students, youth and ASHA workers to express cooperation amongst people, he added.;

Bengaluru: Karnataka Health Minister Dr K. Sudhakar has appealed to people amid this Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav, pledge to donate their organs which could be the "amrit" of someone's life.
"Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will also take an organ donation pledge. I too along with other officials will also take a pledge along with CM Bommai at the event on Saturday," he said at a press conference here.
