NIMHANS to launch Karnataka Mental Health and Management System in March

Bengaluru: The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), in association with the Department of Health and Family Welfare and the Department of Medical Education of the State Government, is all set to launch the Karnataka Mental Health and Management System in March, Director of National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences B N Gangadhar said.

Dr Gangadhar further said that the training programme conducted the under District Mental Health Programme for doctors on the use of technology has yielded best results, after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Director of International Institute of Information Technology-Bangalore (IIIT-B ) S Sadagopan, at the IIIT-B Campus in Electronics City here on Monday.

The MoU was signed for extending and renewing the information technology related skills from IIIT-B and the medical domain expertise from NIMHANS
