Compound wall construction issue: Kerala medicos to form human chain to press their demand
Kozhikode: Seeking urgent steps to construct a compound wall for the medical college campus, students from the Government Medical College, Government Dental College, Government Nursing College, and paramedical students of Kozhikode, Kerala have decided to form a human chain to press for their demand.
The medicos have planned to form the chain on 23 September in accordance with the Covid-19 protocol.
Aqif Nasim, General Secretary of the medical college students' union alleged that the Public Works Department ( PWD) had stopped the work after some residents had tried to disrupt it. He relied on the High Court Judgement passed in their favour which the college authorities can use to demand the completion of the construction.
