India's 2nd Plasma Bank inaugurated at Rajindra Hospital in Patiala

Chandigarh -  Continuing Punjab Government's campaign Mission Fateh to combat Covid-19, Medical Education and Research Minister O P Soni on Tuesday formally inaugurated State's First and country's second Plasma Bank after Delhi at Government Medical College/Rajindra Hospital, Patiala through video conferencing.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Soni said that Plasma Bank will play a vital role in the fight against this pandemic. He said that this Plasma Bank established in Punjab will prove a milestone.

He said that various trials of plasma therapy have been successfully conducted earlier in the state, which paved the way for the establishment of Plasma Bank.
