Punjab: 50 staff nurses issued appointment letters

Health Minister, Balbir Singh Sidhu said that out of 598 posts of staff nurses, appointment letters were issued to 50 staff nurses on the basis of merit in a transparent manner.

Punjab: Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Balbir Singh Sidhu today handed over the appointment letters to 50 staff nurses.

On this occasion, Sidhu said that out of 598 posts of staff nurses, appointment letters were issued to 50 staff nurses today under the Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Yojna of Chief Minister Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh. Appointment letters would be issued to the remaining posts in phases soon. He said that all these appointments were being made by the health department on the basis of merit in a transparent manner.

Congratulating the newly appointed staff nurses in the health department, Mr. Sidhu asked that they have to fulfill their responsibilities with sincerity and diligence in the government hospitals. He said that the staff of the health department has been performing their duties responsibly since March and the Punjab government had also honoured the employees for their outstanding performance.

Health Minister informed that 7000 posts including Medical Officers, paramedical and other staff have been filled under Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Yojna by the Punjab Health Department from the year 2017 to 2019. He said that in addition, recruitment of 3954 posts were under process.

Director, Health Services (Family Welfare) Punjab Dr. Prabhdeep Kaur Johal welcomed the newly appointed staff in the health department. He said the Corona epidemic was not over yet and hundreds of cases were being reported daily. Therefore, to prevent corona, wear a mask and wash your hands with soap and water from time to time and strictly follow the rules of social distance.

On this occasion, MLA Bassi Pathan S. Gurpreet Singh GP And other senior officials were also present.
