Tamil Nadu: Noting that the head of three universities failed to abide by the court proceedings regarding the constitution of a fee fixation committee, the Madras High Court has summoned the personal appearance of them.
The court has also instructed them to mark their responses in the court and also strictly warned that the institution should not be represented by any of its employees.
As per a recent media report by the New Indian Express, the institution heads of 3 private deemed universities allegedly disregarded court proceedings which were carried on in order to constitute a committee that will be e responsible for fixing a valid fee for medical courses.
A division bench comprising Justice T S Sivagnanam and Justice V Bhavani clarified that no employees of the institution should be allowed to represent it other than the concerned authorities.
