PG Medical, Dental Admissions under Govt Quota: TN Health releases revised tentative schedule
Chennai: The Directorate of Medical Education and Selection Committee (TN Health Tamil Nadu) has released the revised tentative counselling schedule for PG medical and dental admissions in government medical and dental colleges as well as for government seats in private and government institutes. In addition, instructions have also been published for the candidates.
The schedules are mentioned below:

Instructions
All candidates participating by ONLINE COUNSELLING for MDS course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of. 1000/- through online as processing fee should be remitted by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card.
Candidates should take care of choice filling.
Vacancy position for the Courses will be available on websites.
The selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity error.
Admission to MDS course shall be made by the ONLINE COUNSELLING on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation. The detailed online counselling procedure is available in Annexure.
A Candidate who has not registered and choice locking in the 1st round of ONLINE COUNSELLING will not be permitted to the subsequent rounds of ONLINE COUNSELLING. (i.e. second round and mop-up round).
A candidate who has taken a seat and not joined (in person or through e-mail) the course, he/she is not eligible for the subsequent rounds of ONLINE COUNSELLING.
Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting (through Physical / Online) to the concerned Dental College. He/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
Candidates should pay the tuition fee and then download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Dental College on or before the date and time stipulated during the first phase of ONLINE COUNSELING by following the two modes:
i. PHYSICAL REPORTING:
The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining in their selected Dental Colleges along with the scanned copy of original certificates to the concerned Dental Colleges.
ii. ONLINE REPORTING:
They can join the allotted college by sending a confirmatory email regarding the acceptance of seat and uploading scanned copies of relevant documents.
In view of the above, the participating candidates are instructed as follows:
If a seat is allotted to a candidate he/she may join the allotted seat availing any of the above two options (Physical / Online Reporting). The following documents are required for Physical / Online Reporting (for uploading) for verification by the College authorities:
a) (i) NEET MDS 2020-Score Card.
(ii) NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card.
b) Aadhar card.
c) BDS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate.
d) CRRI Completion Certificate.
e) Permanent Dental Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India /State Dental Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India/State Dental Council.
f) Community Certificate issued by the competent authority indicating the community status of candidates belonging to Backward Community/Backward Community (Muslim)/ Most Backward Community / Denotified Communities/ Schedule Caste/ Schedule Caste (Arunthathiyar).Scheduled Tribe candidates should produce community certificates issued by a Revenue Divisional Officer of the competent jurisdiction.
g) TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.
h) Nativity Certificate (if applicable) with supportive documents as mentioned in clause 2(b).
i) Recent Regional Medical Board Certificate for Person with Disabilities.
j) Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.
k) A copy of the receipt of payment.
l) Post Card size colour photograph (4"x6") (size: 50kb to 300kb) the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET MDS 2020 to be uploaded.
Candidates are instructed to produce the above mentioned original Certificates/ Documents at the time of joining in the Dental College for certificate verification.

Fees payable in Government Institutions for
MDS - Rs 30,000/- Non refundable
The above fee structure is applicable for 2020-2021 admissions. The candidate should remit the above amount through ONLINE via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.
The selected candidates have to pay any balance of the Tuition Fee (if any) and other special fees etc., at the time of admission in their respective colleges.
Fees payable for Government Seats in Self-Financing institutions:
As prescribed by "COMMITTEE ON FIXATION OF FEES IN RESPECT OF SELF FINANCING PROFESSIONAL COLLEGES" for the year 2020-21
Fees Payable for the seats in Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University, prescribed by Annamalai University.
