Researchers have found in a new study that a combination of a suture lasso technique with a lateral plate, based on traditional internal fixation methods, has proven to be highly effective in treating transolecranon fracture-dislocations of the elbow.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of suture lasso combined with lateral plate in comminuted transolecranon fracture-dislocations of the elbow. They retrospectively reviewed 13 patients with comminuted transolecranon fracture-dislocations of the elbow.
