Unfortunate: AIIMS patient dies after falling from roof

Bhubaneswar: A patient of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) died after falling from the roof of the hospital building.


Hospital officials said that the victim was identified as 45-year-old Subas Jena from Dhenkanal, who was undergoing treatment at medicine ward.

His family members said that Jena was in deep mental stress and had attempted suicide in the hospital earlier.

Police registered a case of unnatural death and were probing into the incident.
