UP govt orders completion of hospital construction by 2018

Lucknow:  Uttar Pradesh Medical Education Minister Ashutosh Tandon has directed that all construction work pertaining to 500-bed hospital in government medical colleges in five districts must be completed by March, 2018.


An official statement by the UP government said the hospitals are to be built in Azamgarh, Jalaun, Ambedkarnagar, Banda, and Jhansi.


Tandon also issued instructions that the burn unit of Lucknow’s King George Medical University be completed within a month.


The minister issued the instructions while reviewing the under-construction projects of UP Rajkiye Nirmaan Nigam, the statement said.
