Kolkata- The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Hospital (Kolkata) has released 09 Vacancies for Faculty Post on Contractual Basis. The Selection will be done based on Walk-in-interview.


Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. It was a time when the industry was still in a nascent stage and the country was heavily dependent on an assortment of imported goods from the developed or fast-developing countries.

The vacancies are in the departments of- Pediatrics, Community Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Selection Procedure:

i. The selection will be made based on the performance of the candidate in the interview before the Selection Board.

ii. Result will be displayed on web-site: www.esic.nic.in.

Application Process:
1. The candidates should appear for document verification one hour before the scheduled time of walk-in Interview at the venue.

2. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.




General Conditions:


i. Mere submission of the application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.


ii. The application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.


iii. Wrong declarations/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.


iv. The opportunity of an interview given to candidates will be on a provisional basis.


v. The interviews shall be conducted at an academic building DEAN OFFICE, ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, and Kolkata 700104. However, ESIC reserve the right to change the center, if needed.


Mode of payment:


A Demand Draft of Rs. 225/- in favor of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I’, drawn after 26.08.2019 on any scheduled bank payable at ‘Kolkata’ has to be submitted along with the Application Form at the time of walk-in Interview.


Note:


i) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.


ii) Only Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank will be accepted. Application Fee paid by any other mode will not be accepted.


iii) The Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of this advertisement.


(iv) Separate Demand Drafts to be paid if a candidate appears for more than one post.
