Assam Rifles enters MoA with premier Kohima Hospital
Kohima : In a move towards providing specialised health care services to the paramilitary personnel in Nagaland, the Assam Rifles entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Oking Hospital Kohima.
Inspector General of Assam Rifles (IGAR-North), Major General Sanjay Gupta and Managing Director of Oking Hospital Dr. Vikethonyii Kesiezie inked the agreement during the formal ceremony in presence of the senior officers of IGAR-North and Commanding Officer of 3rd Assam Rifles Col Jagdeep Bhogal within the camp.
The agreement is initially for a period of three years, which can be reviewed subsequently.
With the signing of this MOA, the soldiers of Assam Rifles and their families will be able to avail cashless treatment at the Oking Hospital for specialised and super specialised health services under the central government Health Scheme.
The AR personnel will also be benefited in terms of better emergency, ICU and casualty services, within Nagaland.
The facility is not only for the in-service jawans but also for the ex-servicemen of Assam Rifles.
