Roy Award for his exemplary contributions to dentistry and medical education. A specialist in endodontics and oral implantology, he has served as President of the Dental Council of India and Consultant to the Armed Forces Medical Services and the President of India. He is currently the Editor in Chief of Indian Journal of Dental Research.
