Dr. S. Sridhar, MD, DM (Endocrinology), is Professor and Head of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Madurai Medical College, Madurai, and a Visiting Consultant at Vadamalayan Hospital, Madurai. He completed his MBBS from Madurai Medical College (1998–2003), MD (Medicine) from JIPMER, Puducherry (2005–2008), and DM (Endocrinology) from PGIMER, Chandigarh (2010–2012). A former Treasurer of the Endocrine Society of Tamil Nadu (2015–2018), he has 44 indexed publications in leading journals including JCEM, JAPI, IJEM, Clinical Endocrinology, AACE, Pituitary, and Endocrine. He was the Best Outgoing MD Student at JIPMER (2008), a national-level winner of the ESI-TYSA and AV Gandhi Awards (2012), Organizing Secretary for ESI Satellite Symposium (2020) and PAED TRENDO (2021), and recipient of the ESI President Appreciation Award (2023) for ESI Registry Creation.
