Although present from birth, many patients remain asymptomatic for years, and the disease is often diagnosed later in adulthood when symptoms such as recurrent abdominal pain, fever, or episodes of cholangitis begin to appear. In some cases, Caroli Disease may also be associated with other conditions like liver fibrosis, increasing the complexity of care.
