  1. WHAT IS THE FAULT HERE!
I am sorry to place my criticism here not to underrate the excellence / expertise of the institution / professional – being awarded as they may be really so up in their levels.

But the award titles – \”\’Best\”\’ – do not fit here as the method of selection is completely erratic.

Few months back I have also got a series of emails from this agency (World Wide achievers) to nominate myself for the award. they also keep tracking through our mobiles. Though I did not go into the details of the motto of this campaign, just to get rid of being disturbed again through email/mobile, I filled up my nomination and sent. Actually the nomination form does not contain any valid individual comparable parameters other than asking to submit briefly about the nominee.

Soon after I got the communication that I am selected as one among the winner to attend the award function at Delhi. But there was a rider statement – \”All winners of the International Healthcare Summit & Awards 2016 being organized by Worldwide Achievers have the option to attend the awards ceremony and use the award ceremony pictures and logos in their advertising campaigns and official stationery and website etc. For such commercial usage, the winners have to buy copyright license from Worldwide Achievers. Compulsory Basic Participation and Print Media option@ 60K + Taxes:\”

Then someone on the behalf of world wide achievers (agency) contacted by phone that i need to pay Rupees 60,000 plus tax. I asked why should I pay when I am being awarded. Then she told it is for the expenditure involved towards audio-video activities of the award function. I asked if I do not pay will I be able to attend the function. She said, \”Sorry, you cannot. that\’s why we mentioned as compulsory participation fee 60K+tax\”
Then I denied saying If the award is being offered based on the pay-ability of the winner, then such award does not deserve my nomination.

Any award when awarded gains its value when it considers various standard (declared) parameters on which the award will be given in a transparent manner without hiding any commercial agenda.
This is absolutely my personal view based on the interaction with this agency. Other may have different views.

The another issue here is while posting the comment is when I clicked the terms & condition – it is just opening a blank page (with no terms and conditions mentioned anywhere in the page) . But to post this comment I have to tick the obligatory check box.
