Delhi : Government takes out vacancies for posts for assistant professors

As per the approval of Hon'ble Minister of Health and family welfare, Department of health and family welfare, Govt of NCT of Delhi has announced the existing vacancies of Assistant professors due to acute shortage and delay in the recruitment by UPSC.
The announcement brings a good news for the existing resident doctors who have completed their 3 years residency period now, as due to the circumstances, they can now apply for the post of Assistant Professor in teaching hospitals/concerned departments on the same remuneration drawn at the end of 3rd year of senior Residency. This system can be extended on the basis of performance of doctors every year with maximum duration of 3 years.
