Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has recently dismissed a plea by a city-based dentist, alleging that the higher authorities of police have been biased in investigating a case against the dentist by favoring the complainants. The Court remarked that it is outrageous to assume that a public servant will conduct a biased investigation to favor his familiar social circle without any valid proof.
This came after the dentist approached the high court requesting the court to keep the case of the jurisdiction of Chandigarh police.
