Dr Ajai K Malhotra, MBBS, MS, DNB, FRCS, FACS. Dr Ajai K Malhotra is a distinguished surgeon with extensive trauma and acute care surgery expertise. He completed his MBBS from Motilal Nehru Medical College in Allahabad, followed by postgraduate training (MS and DNB) in General and Vascular Surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh. After gaining a fellowship (FRCS) from Edinburgh, he moved to New York for a surgical residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a Trauma/Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Malhotra served as Professor and Vice Chair of Acute Care Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and currently holds the position of Professor and Chief of Acute Care Surgery at the University of Vermont. He is deeply involved in trauma care research and committed to improving trauma care in India.
