Dr Jyotsna Kulkarni is being awarded for her outstanding contribution to the medical fraternity, but still the Medical dialogues team refers to her as \”wife and Laparoscopic surgeon\” in the very first line of the article. This implies that her first achievement has been being \”someone\’s wife\” instead of being a surgeon. Md team should really check their articles for sexist statements as it is not expected of such an organization.
