New Delhi: Through a recent notice ESIC Kerala has released 18 Vacancies for Specialist, Senior Residents, Ayurvedic Physician, Ayurvedic Pharmacist on Part-Time, Full-Time, Contractual Basis. The selection will be done through Walk-in-Interview.

Qualification for Specialist:
MBBS and PG Degree or equivalent, with 3 years experience or PG diploma with 5 years experience in respective specialty after PG.
Qualification for Senior Resident (3 Years):
PG Degree/Diploma in concerned speciality from recognized university.
Qualification for Senior Resident (1 Year):
PG Degree or PG Diploma Candidates or candidates with 2 years experience after MBBS out of which one year in the concerned speciality in Govt./Reputed hospitals will be considered if PG candidates are not available.
For dental SR, BDS-preference will be given to those with PG Qualification and Experience.
Qualification for Ayurvedic Physician:
Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery with 3 years experience in Govt./ reputed hospitals.
Qualification for Ayurvedic Pharmacist:
Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from Govt. or recognized institution. Three-year experience in Ayurvedic Pharmacy in recognized institution and Registered under Ayurveda Act 1948 with the competent pharmacy council.
Duties & Remuneration for Specialist:
Full-Time Specialist- Basic Pay Rs.18750/- + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-, DA, HRA and NPA as admissible or as per orders issued by ESIC Headquarters Office from time to time. Total emoluments Rs.87,278/-- (Approx.). Remuneration under revision upon implementation of VIlth CPC.
Part-Time Specialist- Remuneration Rs.40,000/- per month for 4(Four) hours session per day for 5 days in a week. Additional Rs.8,000/- admissible if willing to perform emergency call duty. Additional Rs. 1000/- for extra session of 2(two).
Remuneration for Senior Resident (3 Years):
For PG Degree & PG Diploma holders- Basic Pay Rs.67,700/- and other allowances as per rules. Total emoluments Rs.1,07,232/- (Approx.)
Remuneration for Senior Resident (1 Year):
For PG Degree & PG Diploma holders- Basic Pay Rs.18750 + 6600 (G.P) (pre-revised) and other allowances as per rules. Total emoluments Rs.87,278/- (Approx.)
For MBBS with experience- Basic Pay Rs.15,600+Rs.5,400 (G.P.) (Pre-revised pay scale) and other allowances as per rules. Total emoluments Rs.73,574/- (Approx.)
Duties/Remuneration for Ayurvedic Physician:
To work for 5 hours a day (9 a.m to 2 p.m); Six days a week. Rs.50,000/-per month(Consolidated).
Duties/Remuneration for Ayurvedic Pharmacist:
To work for 5 hours a day (9 a.m to 2 p.m); Six days a week. Rs.11,360/- per month(Rupees eleven thousand three hundred and sixty only) (Consolidated).
Age Limit for Specialist:
Full-Time Specialist — Age not exceeding 45 years as on 16.01.2019. Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
Part-Time Specialist — Age not exceeding 64 years as on 16.01.2019.
Part-Time Specialist — Age not exceeding 64 years as on 16.01.2019.
Age Limit for Senior Resident (3 Years):
Not exceeding 37 years as on 16.01.2019. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is as per rules.
Age Limit for Senior Resident (1 Year):
Not exceeding 37 years as on 16.01.2019. Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
Age Limit for Ayurvedic Physician:
Not exceeding 35 years as on 17.01.2019.
Age Limit for Ayurvedic Pharmacist:
Not exceeding 32 years as on 17.01.2019. Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
Preference will be given to PWD (Persons with Disability) candidates as per rules as shown in Annexure -1

Interested Candidates are advised to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the dates mentioned below, at ESIC Hospital, Udyogamandal, Ernakulam with application in the prescribed proforma, all original documents, one set of xerox copies of all original documents and two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on the application)
Details of Application fee: Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) for General/OBC Candidates and Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) for SC/ST candidates by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESI Fund Account No.1 payable at SBI, Kalamassery. Female applicants are exempted from Application Fee.
