Fact Check
The claim that NEXT will be held in July 2025 is FALSE. The original post itself clarifies that it is part of an April Fools' prank and is not intended to be taken seriously.
Is the next NEET-PG exam scheduled to be held in July 2025?
The claim that the NEXT/PG-NEET exam will be held in July 2025 is FALSE and misleading. The notice that was shared explicitly states that the exam schedule mentioned for July 2025 is part of an April Fools’ prank, making the claim false and not to be taken seriously.
An image circulating online on social media platform and on whatsapp claims that the NEXT exam will be conducted in 5 phases starting 3rd July 2025. However, the first point in the same notice reads:
“NEXT exams will be conducted in 5 phases starting 3th July 2025 as per April fools day prank”
This clearly indicates that the information about the July 2025 schedule is not genuine and is intended as a joke. Additionally, the notice provides the next line as
The NEET-PG 2024 is scheduled for 11th August 2024 and will be conducted in two shifts.
The cut-off date for eligibility to appear remains 15th August 2024.
Now since the notice is further dated 1.04.2025 and is stating about the NEET-PG 2024 is scheduled for 11th August 2024, which clearly does not make sense, it is clear that someone manipulated the earlier notice to create this new notice, and that its contents need not be believed.
