Oxyfedrine is an antianginal/antihypertensive/vasodilator belonging to β-adrenergic receptors agonist.
Oxyfedrine is a vasodilator, indicated for the treatment of angina pectoris and Myocardial infarction.
Oxyfedrine shows common side effects like Taste perversion.
Oxyfedrine is available in the form of Oral Tablet.
Oxyfedrine is available in India, Malaysia, and Canada.
Oxyfedrine belonging to the β-adrenergic receptors agonist acts as an antianginal/antihypertensive/vasodilator.
Oxyfedrine is a vasodilator and a beta- adrenoreceptor agonist It was found to depress the tonicity of coronary vessels, improve myocardial metabolism (so that heart can sustain hypoxia better) and also exert a positive chronotropic and inotropic effects, thereby not precipitating angina pectoris.
The Data of Onset and Duration of action of Oxyfedrine is not clinically established.
Oxyfedrine is available in the form of Oral Tablet.
Oxyfedrine tablet is taken by orally, usually 3 times a day.

Oxyfedrine is a vasodilator, prescribed for angina pectoris and Myocardial infarction.
- Angina pectoris and Myocardial infarction
Adult Dose: 8-24 mg 3 times/day.
Oxyfedrine is available in various strengths as 8mg and 24mg.
Oxyfedrine is contraindicated in patients with
- Aortic insufficiency with marked haemodynamic changes.
- Subvalvular aortic stenosis.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart disease.
- Caution should be taken in patients with history Liver or kidney impairment.
- Caution should be exercised during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Transient taste impairment
