Haryana Government Seeks to open a medical college in every district
Haryana government has committed itself for a serious cause. With an aim to improve the medical services in the state through efficiency of manpower availability, the state minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced its focus to launch a medical college, private or government in each district of the state.
The state has recently added a small corpus of about 100 doctors to address the situation of shortage of doctors in medical institutions. Close to 112 doctors have been deployed to meet the requirements of medical institutions in the State and about 100 new posts, or doctors are under consideration. The Haryana Chief Minister has also been reported to have shifted his focus of infrastructure developmet to sustain the launch of 100 new hospital buildings, 12 new community centres and 12 Primary Health Centres during the year 2015-16. The Chief Minister has just visited the General Hospital in Rohtak and inspected the AYUSH Department
