"Love your eyes" on this World Sight Day- Ft. Dr Sandeep Buttan - Video

Every year 12th October is celebrated as World Sight Day. World Sight Day is an important occasion to raise awareness about visual impairment and eye health. On this occasion, Medical Dialogues team interacted with Dr Sandeep Buttan - Global technical lead at eye health at Sightsavers, India.

Dr Sandeep Buttan did MSc in Community Eye Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. He currently leads the development of national strategic priorities and action plans for Sightsavers eye health portfolio in India. He also leads strategic advocacy for integration of eye health into broader health context of the National urban health mission (NUHM) in India.

Prior to this, he worked as Community ophthalmologist at Dr Shroff`s Charity Eye Hospital.

Dr. Nandita Mohan

Dr. Nandita Mohan is a practicing pediatric dentist with more than 5 years of clinical work experience. Along with this, she is equally interested in keeping herself up to date about the latest developments in the field of medicine and dentistry which is the driving force for her to be in association with Medical Dialogues. She also has her name attached with many publications; both national and international. She has pursued her BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and later went to enter her dream specialty (MDS) in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Pt.
