National Medical Commission invites suggestions for its logo, tagline, winner entries to get prize
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has invited ideas and suggestions from the general public, students as well as Professionals for designing a logo and tagline for the apex medical regulator signifying its vision and motto.
The logo creation and tagline are expected to distinguish the motivation and vision of the NMC for providing qualitative and affordable medical education to all the medicos.
Issuing an announcement seeking ideas and suggestions from the general public/ students/ Professionals for designing a logo and tagline, the NMC has stated in its notification:
"The motto of the National Medical Commission is to provide quality and affordable medical education to all Medical Students and Professionals with a vision to promote equitable, scientific, and/ universal health care for all Indians. Now it has been decided that the National Medical Commission should have its logo and a tagline defining its motto and vision."
All the respective entrants can share their entries, ideas, and suggestions at the e-mail id mentioned below:
The deadline for the entries is till midnight of 15th October 2021. Prize of Rs. 10,000 & Rs. 5,000/- shall be announced for best entries for logo & tagline respectively, the NMC notification informed.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has been constituted by an act of Parliament known as the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 which came into force on 25.9.2020 by gazette notification dated 24.9.2020. The Board of Governors in supersession of Medical Council of India constituted under section 3A of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 stands dissolved thereafter.
The Aim of the National Medical Commission is to improve access to quality and affordable medical education, ensure availability of adequate and high-quality medical professionals in all parts of the country; promote equitable and universal healthcare that encourages community health perspective and makes services of medical professionals access to all the citizens; encourages medical professionals to adopt latest medical research in their work and to contribute to research; objectively assess medical institutions periodically in a transparent manner; maintain a medical register for India; enforce high ethical standards in all aspects of medical services; and have an effective grievance redressal mechanism.
