NMC to hold Public Grievance Hearing every Thursday from September 7, asks to email brief details

New Delhi: Aiming to address the grievances in matters related to the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Apex Medical Commission has decided to hold a Public Hearing on a weekly basis starting on September 07, 2023.
Issuing a Public Notice in this regard, the NMC Secretary has informed that this redressal/public hearing for grievances, suggestions or query resolutions will be held on Thursday every week from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Referring to the first hearing on September 07, 2023, the secretary of the Apex Medical Commission has informed that those who wish to present their grievances in person may send brief details about the same at least 2 days prior via email.
These details will have to be sent to grievance_cell@nmc.org.in and after receipt of the confirmation of the date, the applicants can schedule a physical visit, the Commission has informed. Further, NMC clarified that a maximum of two individuals for each of the issues may remain present at the assigned date.
The Public Notice issued by NMC in this regard stated, "With a view to addressing grievances and giving a hearing in the matters related to National Medical Commission (NMC), it has been decided that Thursday (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) of every week is designated as redressal/public hearing time for grievances/ suggestions/query resolution. The first of such hearing shall be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023."
"Secretary NMC, with officials from all divisions, shall be hearing all the aggrieved representatives/ persons/ candidates etc. during this time. Those who wish to present their grievance in person may send brief details of their grievance at least 2 days in advance by email to grievance_cell@nmc.org.in. Upon receipt of confirmation of the date, applicant can schedule a physical visit. A maximum of 2 individuals for each matter may please remain present at the assigned date," the notice dated September 01, 2023 further added.
