Homeopathy finds treatment for Bechet disease
Patients who suffer from severe ulceration in mouth and genitals, a very rare immunological disorder can find some relief in homeopathy. Bechet is the clinical term given to this immunological disorder which may also extend to severe joint pains and in extreme cases result in complete blindness.
A case study regarding the treatment was presented by homeopathic doctor A K Gupta at the 70th International Homeopathic Congress of Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI) held recently in Brazil.
Gupta, who is the Founder and Director of Om Vidya Institute of Homeopathy and Allied Medical Sciences, had earlier discovered an effective homeopathic treatment for the Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
A delegation of 36 homeopathic experts from India attended the five-day conference which saw participation of 1,200 delegates from across the globe, as confirmed by PTI.
Behcet’s syndrome, also known as Behcet’s disease, is named after Hulusi Behcet, a skin specialist who was among the first physicians in modern medicine to describe the classical features of this condition. However, Hippocrates, the father of medicine, had recognized the condition way back in the 5th century BC.
