Jharkhand cabinet nod to Ayushman Bharat scheme
Ranchi, The Jharkhand Government has decided to merge the ‘Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana’ with Centre sponsored Ayushman Bharat scheme which will be rolled out on a hybrid model in the state.
A decision in this regard was today taken in the special cabinet meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here.
Under the hybrid model while Rs one lakh of health insurance coverage will be given by the company while further payment ranging from above Rs 1 lakh up to Rs 5 lakh will be paid by the means of health insurance benefit implementation support agency on a trust mode.
After the merger of the scheme will be implemented by ‘Jharkhand State Arogya Society’ falling under Health and Family Welfare Department or its successor.
