Biological E. Limited is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The company was founded by Dr. Datla Venkata Krishnam Raju in the year 1953 at a time when the focus of India was on the Swadeshi Movement. It was incorporated on the 10th of December in the year 1953. At the time of its inception, the company was named as Biological Products Private Limited and was involved in the production of pharmaceutical products for the treatment of diseases. It later transformed into a company which prevented their occurrence. The company changed its name to Biological Evans Limited following its partnership with Evans Medical in 1963 and to Biological E. Limited later. Biological E. Limited was one of the first companies to produce Biological Products at that time. The first product of the company that was launched within the first year of its start was a blood clot preventing medicine known as Heparin. The company dived into the mass production of vaccines, cough and cold preparations, digestive enzymes, anti-tubercular and sera from 1962 onwards, with the launch of its Vaccines and Biologics Division and became a leader in the manufacture and marketing of Anti-Tetanus serums. One of the most popular and prime product of the company was the Pentavalent vaccine which was launched in the year 2008 and was useful in preventing diseases like Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Haemophilus influenza type B and hepatitis B. The company set up their research and development facilities in the years 2000 to 2004 and created vaccines for multiple bacterial, viral and other types of infections like, Encephalitis, Measles and Rubella. The company has kept the prices of its vaccines low for the common man to be able to afford it easily.

Biological E. Limited has a total number of seven manufacturing facilities located in India at Telangana, and Genome Valley in Hyderabad, with continuous efforts of establishment of new facilities. It has a research facility at Shamirpet. The company supplies its vaccines to a large number of countries including Singapore, San Francisco, Brazil, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
