Eris Lifesciences Limited is an Indian pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Ahmedabad. It was founded by Amit Bakshi in the year 2007. Bakshi, who had been working at Intas Pharmaceuticals since 1996, had to resign from the company due to opinion differences. He started his own company with the name Eric Lifesciences along with three of his peers who had resigned from Intas Pharmaceuticals with him. The company at that time of its start was funded by a stockist from Ahmedabad who had given an amount of Rs. 1.50 crore to Bakshi. Since he had significant experience in cardiology and diabetology from his prior work at Intas Pharmaceuticals, he decided to make a safe start in these areas and supplied specialty medicines for the same to a Delhi based manufacturer due to lack of any manufacturing facility. Bakshi supplied three lakh tablets and capsules to the manufacturer. It was only in 2010 that Bakshi purchased his first factory in Himachal Pradesh from Sozin Flora that was worth Rs. 20 crore. The factory employed forty workers and could generate an amount of two crore tablets and capsules in one month. The company at the time of its incorporation in 2007 was renamed as Eris Lifesciences Private Limited. The company went from Private to a Public Limited Company in 2017 and changed its name to 'Eris Lifesciences Limited' subsequently.

The company specializes in the areas of pain management, nutritionals, anti-diabetics, anti-infectives, cardiovascular disorders, orthopedics, gynecology, respiratory disorders, pediatrics, neuroscience and gastrointestinal diseases. The company in the year 2007 started in the areas of cardiology and diabetology and has since then moved on to areas of gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology and pediatrics. The company has launched several units like 'Eris','Victus','Nikkos', 'Montana', 'Inspira', 'Adura' and 'Eris 2’ for cardiovascular, diabetes, gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics and pain management segments.

The company established its second production unit in the year 2014 at Guwahati, in Assam that is now involved in the production and supply of its branded products.
