Fourrts (India) Laboratories Private Limited is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Chennai. The company was started by S V Veeramani in partnership with a group of professionals in the year 1977. Fourrts (India) Laboratories was incorporated as a private limited company on the 31st of March in the year 1979. It was known as Fourrts (India) Laboratories Private Limited (Fourrts). The company launched its first product under the brand name Sucrafil in the year 1977. Veeramani is the Chairman and Managing Director of the company and has been a part of the pharmaceutical industry since almost forty years. The company has won multiple awards under the guidance of its founder including the Quality Excellence Awards. His wife Radha Veeramani has also been a part of the company as the Joint Managing Director, along with her husband. The entire Veeramani family is a part of the business now including the daughters and son-in-laws of Veeramani. S V Veeramani has been elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India in the year 2021.

The company specializes in the therapy areas of respiratory disorders, fertility management, gastroenterology, child health, nephrology, nutraceuticals, dermatology, gynecology, urology, diabetology, orthopedic, liver care, wound care and probiotics. The company has a reputation for its gastro division that was formed in the year 2013 and is one of the oldest divisions of Fourrts.

Fourrts (India) Laboratories Private Limited has two manufacturing facilities located in Tamil Nadu. Both the plants have been approved by major international regulatory bodies like WHO and MHRA. The company is also seeking to make alliance with Hungary, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Australia and Canada to facilitate manufacturing operations on contract basis.
