Meyer Organics Private Limited is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Mumbai, India. The company was founded by Dr. K. T. Lalvani in the year 1982 in the city of Mumbai. It was incorporated on the 7th of February in the year 1981. The company was started in technical collaboration with Omega - Meyer Limited, Jersey and Vitabiotics, UK. The company started its first large-scale production in the year 1984, with the establishment of its first manufacturing facility at Thane in Mumbai. After its manufacturing plant was set up, the company soon started with its export business and entered into the market of Nigeria and to the markets of UK, Caribbean Islands and Latin America in the next three years. The year 1989 was relevant for the company as it launched its first product in India.
