  1. Any medical college with regular teaching faculty having genuine certificates of experience/promotion will not have any problem in following MCI guidelines in their website. But the problem comes when there are ghost teaching faculty particularly professors who were promoted by generating fake service certificates or faculty themselves submitting false service certificates of having worked in some other medical college without working there at all. MCI remained very soft in dealing with this type of fraud and never seriously enquired on this issue till date.Let us hope that this new initiative will improve the situation and medical students will have better training and proper medical education in future.

It should be made absolutely compulsory to put all the details mentioned on web site and periodically to update failing there should not be MCI inspections to any medical college either for renewal or increasing seats
I tried as VC of RGUHS there is lot of resistance
    Good luck MCI

MCI is meant to verify what is taught and its outcome. physical presence of staff, equipment, space does not ensure good teaching/learning. in this we have not progressed for the last 70 years. time to innovate, be applicable in todays world. unfortunately people who can innovate, do scientific syllabus restructuring and curriculum development find no place in such bodies hence the decrease in learning slope

  5. MCI should realize that full time staff in smaller towns and cities are very poor in knowledge and hardly do any teaching work. To hide their inefficiency they give good results every year and bring out batches of half baked doctors.
MCI should realize that senior private doctors of that towns who are academic , faculty at national conferences , should be appointed for teaching and class O.T. work at a respectable remuneration as part time visiting faculties.
Whereever this system is there , they r the best medical institutions in our country. MCI should be serious about this to raise the standard of education in the country. They have nothing to loose.
It should be done immediately to save medical colleges going from bad to worse.
