NMC releases provisional seat matrix for PG medical, SS courses- Check out branch-wise breakup - Video
Overview
New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the provisional seat matrix for postgraduate (MD/MS/Diploma/DNB) and superspecialty (DM/MCh) medical courses across India for the academic year 2025–26, listing a total of 54,855 seats in medical specialities.
For NEET PG and NEET SS aspirants, this data highlights the distribution of seats in core specialties such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthesiology, and Pediatrics, among others. In addition, the NEET SS seat data provides insights into advanced training opportunities in super-specialties such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Surgical Oncology, and more.
