The Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IJDVL) is an open-access peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-quality articles in the field of Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, Cutaneous Biology, Dermatological Therapeutics, Cosmetic Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Dermatosurgery, Pediatric Dermatology, Photodermatology, HIV Medicine. The journal is owned by the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL), India and published by the Scientific Scholar.

3. What are the changing landscapes in clinical dermatological practices in India and what are the major challenges in leading hospitals like AIIMS, VMMC, GB Pant etc.? What role journals like IJDVL play in transforming the best practices and overcoming challenges in the ground reality?

Dr. Nandita Mohan

Dr. Nandita Mohan is a practicing pediatric dentist with more than 5 years of clinical work experience. Along with this, she is equally interested in keeping herself up to date about the latest developments in the field of medicine and dentistry which is the driving force for her to be in association with Medical Dialogues. She also has her name attached with many publications; both national and international. She has pursued her BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and later went to enter her dream specialty (MDS) in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Pt. Dr Archana Singal (MD (Dermatology, STI and Leprosy), FAMS) is a Director Professor and HOD (Dermatology & STD) at University College of Medical Sciences, Rohtak. She is also serving as the Editor in Chief of Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IJDVL). Dr Archana has over 30-years of post MD experience and has been a teaching faculty for 25 years and recognized supervisor for MD and PhD. Her chief areas of interest include Tropical Dermatology (Chiefly Cutaneous TB, Leprosy and Mycoses), Nail disorders and Genodermatoses. She has published extensively and has to her credit, over 250 scientific publications and 45 chapters, in different standard textbooks. She is the chief editor for the books, ‘Comprehensive Approach to Infections In Dermatology’, ‘Comprehensive Approach to Nail Disorders’, ‘Atlas of Infections in Dermatology’, and ‘Superficial Dermatophytosis’
