Overview
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrinopathy that is highly prevalent in women of Indian ethnicity. Clinical practice guidelines do not adequately consider ethnic–cultural differences in the diagnosis and care of women with PCOS.
In today's video we will be provided with insights into understanding why many Indian women having symptoms of PCOS get diagnosed when they try to conceive and also what are the earliest opportunities for intervention.

With over four decades of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr. Shah has made significant contributions to the medical community and is widely recognized for her exceptional work. She is the founder and president of the PCOS Society and a promoter of women's health and adolescent health in India. She has authored five books and published numerous research articles on topics related to women's health, adolescent health, and infertility.
