Early indicators of PCOS Screening- Ft. Dr. Duru Shah, MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)
Overview
Polycystic ovary syndrome which is known to all og us as PCOS, is a common endocrinopathy which is prevailing in women of Indian ethnicity. Clinical practice guidelines do not adequately consider ethnic–cultural differences in the diagnosis and care of women with PCOS.
In this video we will be provided with insights into understanding what the earliest indicators could be that can guide for consideration of PCOS screening in young girls/women.

With over four decades of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr. Shah has made significant contributions to the medical community and is widely recognized for her exceptional work. She is the founder and president of the PCOS Society and a promoter of women's health and adolescent health in India. She has authored five books and published numerous research articles on topics related to women's health, adolescent health, and infertility.
