Overview
Children tend to become constipated for slightest changes like when they're switching from an all-liquid diet to one that includes solid foods. Changes in routine, or any other changes such as travel, hot weather or stress that affecbowel function.
In today’s video, to talk to us in detail about the various factors that can cause Pediatric Constipation we have Dr. Lavenya R Padmanaban, Consultant- Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Marathahalli, Bangalore.
She completed her MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College and MD Pediatrics from the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Madras Medical College. Subsequently in the UK she completed MRCPCH and trained in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at King`s College Hospital NHS Trust, London.
She has vast experience in managing children with common ailments and good expertise in managing children with complicated gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
