Delhi Air Pollution: Mask up, say doctors
Seeing an increase in air pollution in Delhi and the surrounding National Capital Region (NCR), doctors have urged people to wear masks when going out of their homes. National Capital Delhi is observing the highest Air Quality Index (AQI) of the year. AQI of 999 was recorded in Delhi's Anand Vihar on November 2, while several areas in Greater Noida crossed the 700 mark.
Common symptoms observed include prolonged cough, sneezing, wheezing, shortness of breath, burning and watery eyes, headaches, and fatigue.
NEET Counselling 2023: MCC notifies on addition, deletion of MBBS, BDS seats from special stray vacancy round
Trough a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS has informed about the addition and deletion of MBBS and BDS seats from the special stray vacancy round of NEET Counselling 2023.
In its notice, the MCC mentioned that it has received information from Institutes to remove/ add seats in the seat matrix of Special Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2023.

WFME will not remove the need for PLAB, USMLE, but it will open doors that were otherwise getting shut for Indian doctors
The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently achieved a major feat when it announced that it had bagged the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) recognition for the next 10 years. As part of this recognition, all the 706 existing medical colleges in India will become WFME accredited, and the new medical colleges that will be set up in the coming 10 years will automatically become WFME accredited.

RIMS MD forensic medicine student's burnt body found on campus, doctors demand high-level investigation
In a shocking incident, a partially charred body of a 27-year-old doctor was found on the campus of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi on Thursday.
According to recent media reports, the body was identified to be that of Dr Madhan Kumar M, a second-year postgraduate student of the forensic medicine and toxicology department, from Namakkal district in Tamil Nadu.
