No NExT exam for 2019 MBBS batch, confirms Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya
There will be no NExT exam for the 2019 MBBS batch and NExT exam will not replace the final exams- two major announcements were made by Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
Responding to a query raised by a doctor/student, who pointed out the concerns of medicos regarding the National Exit Test (NExT) exam, the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently stated that there will be no NExT exam for the 2019 MBBS batch. However, no official notification has been released by the authorities in this regard yet.

MBBS, BDS courses get costlier in Tamil Nadu this year
Medical and Dental Education in Tamil Nadu has become a little more expensive and as a result, the MBBS and BDS students in the State will have to pay higher fees this year.
According to the recently released prospectus for admission to MBBS/BDS Degree courses under Government and Management Quota seats, the UG students in government medical and dental colleges will be liable to pay Rs 2,000 more this academic year as compared to last year.
