NEET UG 2024: New website, revised application fee to tie-breaking policy
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially kicked off the application process for the NEET UG, introducing several key changes that applicants need to be aware of. As the gateway to medical education in India, the NEET UG examination's updates are crucial for aspiring medical students.
Addressing the inaugural programme, Shri Amit Shah lauded the Swaminarayan sect and said that Lord Swaminarayan made Gujarat Karmabhoomi, established nine temples and a great tradition. He said that the Swaminarayan sect freed crores of people from addiction, promoted the values ​​of devotion in every home, and taught them how to live a smooth life. Shri Shah said the Swaminarayan sect started setting up Gurukuls across Gujarat since the 1960s.
Supreme Court's ultimatum: Standardize private hospital fees or face CGHS rate enforcement
The Supreme Court on Tuesday slammed the Union Government for its failure to specify a range of rates for availing services at private hospitals and clinical establishments.
Even though Rule 9 of the Clinical Establishment (Central Government) Rules, 2012 mandates that the Government shall determine the rate of fee chargeable from the patients at private hospitals and clinical establishments, it has not been enforced till now.
