NMC finally defers NExT Exam
The National Exit Test (NExT) examination has now been deferred till further notice from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Confirmation in this regard has been issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in a public notice issued today. NMC informed in the notice that the NExT examination has been deferred on the advice of the Ministry.

136 dengue cases in Delhi, Health Minister holds meeting with officials
A meeting on containmnent of the spread of vector-borne diseases was held between Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and senior officials of the government on tuesday.
As per the civic authorities data, Delhi has recorded 136 cases of dengue and 43 of malaria this year till July 8.
One-year recognition, the continuance of recognition to MBBS batches admitted up to 2018-2019: NMC clarification
In a major relief to numerous MBBS graduates, who have been facing troubles in obtaining permanent registration in the absence of recognition for their respective batches, the National Medical Commission has granted recognition/continuance of recognition for one year for all the MBBS batches admitted up to 2018-2019.
This decision has been taken by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission as it took note of the peculiar situation and the hardships faced by the medical students in obtaining permanent registration in the absence of recognized medical qualifications.
