NEET PG 2023: After extension of internship deadline, now students demanding postponement of exam
After the extension of the Internship Deadline for appearing in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) Examination, now the candidates are seeking postponement of the PG medical entrance test by six to eight weeks.
Referring to the postponed deadline for completion of MBBS Internship i.e. June 30, the students have pointed out that the candidates would not be able to participate in the counselling process without the internship completion certificate.

Can't compromise with security: Doctors demand CISF for security at Hospitals
Concerned over the instances of violence against medical professionals and their security, the doctors under the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) are now demanding Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in the hospital.
Recently the matter was discussed by Delhi based doctors in their meeting at RML Hospital. Already the doctors have written to the Union Government authorities and submitted their demands.

Expert opinion mandatory for deciding medical negligence case, State Commission asks Gajraja Medical College to submit expert report
Upholding the rule that the opinion of an expert is necessary to prove or disprove medical negligence, the State Consumer Court of Madhya Pradesh recently overturned the order of the District Consumer Court, Gwalior, which had exonerated a doctor from charges of medical negligence without consulting the opinion of an expert.
Setting aside the lower court order, the State Commission has directed the District Commission to send all the medical records of the patient to the Dean of Gajraja Medical College Gwalior and get a medical expert opinion from the college.
