AIIMS cyber attack: Delhi Police seeks data on Chinese hackers from CBI-Interpol
In a latest development in connection with the AIIMS server hacking case, the Delhi Police have written a letter to the Centre Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking details on Chinese hackers through Interpol.
The Delhi Police have sought information about the IP address being used by the hackers.
"To contact Interpol we have to write to the CBI. We need information from Interpol in the case. CBI is the nodal agency to reach out to them. The hackers sent mails using certain IP addresses, we need details about those IP addresses. We want to know whether these IP addresses were used by any firm or individual," a source said.

NMC expert committee survey reveals annual median fee in private medical colleges, deemed Universities
The median for course fees at the private medical colleges is around R 11.5 lakh per year, while the amount is a whooping Rs 21 lakh at the deemed universities, an expert group under the National Medical Commission (NMC) has recently revealed.
Conducting a survey, the expert group operative under the Apex medical education regulatory body NMC has further pointed out that among the approximate 96,000 MBBS seats in India, almost half of them are in the private medical colleges and deemed universities.

Stitches open after hysterectomy: After 2 decades, UP doctor, nursing home finally exonerated of negligence charges
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) recently exonerated doctor and nursing home based in Uttar Pradesh from allegations of negligence while conducting hysterectomy operation on a patient.
It was alleged by the complainant that due to the negligence by the doctor during hysterectomy operation, she had to face sudden bust of abdomen and her stitches opened up. However, the NCDRC bench dismissed the complaint as it noted that the patient was obese and the gaping of surgical wound is known complication in the Obese patient and due to increased abdominal pressure at the time of passing stool or urine.
